Who am I? I'm a Metro Detroiter who's active in real estate investing and helps others buy, sell and invest in real estate as a licensed agent.
I'm also a digital marketer and amateur economist (see my favorite data in the Charts section!).
I live in West Bloomfield, MI with my wife and have three adult children.
In my spare time I run a real estate investment Facebook group, the Metro Detroit Real Estate Investors Group, which provides helpful info daily and meets in person every month.
I'm a proud grad of the University of Michigan's Mechanical Engineering program and hold a MBA in Finance from The Wharton School.
When you take out a mortgage to buy a house, the lender (mortgage company) typically requires you to put a certain amount of money into an escrow account at closing. This escrow account is used to pay your property taxes and homeowner's insurance premiums when they come due.
